Dare Olonoh is not your typical rapper.  Interested more in making good music that people can relate to than creating a hard core image based on violence and drugs, he’s a breath of fresh air to hip hop.  With a smooth flow that can be altered to fit any track and concepts that are new and unique to hip hop, Dare isn’t afraid to expand the art form and challenge himself creatively.  In fact, this is exactly what fuels him…. operating in uncharted territory and going places creatively and musically that most rap artists are afraid to go.

A college graduate who had incredible success while in school, garnering the interest of several top international companies, Dare went on to work for a prestigious consumer products company after his undergraduate career.  However, it didn’t take long for him to realize that a desk job and white picket fences weren’t in the future he had imagined for himself as a child, even though that’s what most people around him said was the ideal life.  He wanted more, something different.

Knowing that he was risking a comfortable and secure future, Dare quit his job to seek his passions and chase his dreams in what many around him perceived as the least likely career for a top student and corporate standout… a career as a rapper!

Dare, however, could be more accurately described as an artist and aspiring entrepreneur.  His goal within music is lofty but simple - to create innovative music that is universally appealing and relatable.  As the bi-racial son of a Nigerian father and an American mother, Dare’s unique and diverse background is representative of a changing America and a shrinking world… and it fits perfectly with the genre-blending music that he makes.
