Arrested Development Movie - Update
For those of you that aren’t familiar with one of the greatest tragedies in television history, get familiar!!! Arrested Development is easily one of my favorite shows, up there with the Fresh Prince Of Belair and Seinfeld, but it was canceled after just three seasons. It was heavily critically acclaimed, had a huge cult following, an an all star cast, and great writing… but, sadly, it didn’t last.
But now the good news… I recently saw on filmdrunk that it looks like they’re going to make an Arrested Development movie!!! And that makes me REALLY REALLY happy!
Update - The Hollywood Reporter is saying that the Arrested Development people have closed a studio deal, bringing this project closer to reality!!!!

Ah!!! I’m so happy to hear that as well! Jeremy and I have bought all of the seasons and watch them almost every night… it never gets old.
When is this movie coming out?!

ya i’ve gone through the seasons a couple of times myself, too!! i love it! …they haven’t said when it’s expected yet. ron howard, who produced the show, just confirmed that they are doing a movie and everything is set into motion but they’re still waiting on a script. so, i’m guessing it would be late 2009 or 2010… but that’s just a guess.
