“New Castle Restaurant Operator Charged with Bad Checks in Nevada31.10.08

Police jailed a partner in the New Castle Bella Vita restaurant Thursday on check deception accusations from Nevada totaling $44,775. Henri Najem, a partner with Indianapolis investor Tim Durham, was booked into Henry County Jail where he awaits extradition. Zadrowski said Najem, who lives in McCordsville, allegedly wrote nine checks for $5,000 at one or more casinos to obtain “casino markers,” a form of gambling credit.”
